HEMO-15 INJECTION 100ML
Hemo 15 is a potent injectable multi-vitamin, multi-mineral supplement for horses. It can be administered intramuscularly or intravenously, & is particularly suitable for the performance horse.
If anaemia and/or low blood counts are the only problems your horses has, then specific iron products such as Hiron may be more appropriate. However, in many circumstances, iron deficiency is not the only problem and Hemo-15 addresses the other deficiencies that may be present in addition to iron.
Contains Iron & Copper. Both play an important role in haemoglobin formulation. Therefore Hemo 15 also helps to prevent nutritional & sports related anaemia.
Contains amino acids, the building blocks for proteins. Body protein synthesis requires that all of the essential amino acids involved be present simultaneously. Any amino acid that is present in inadequate amounts will limit the utilisation of all the others. Therefore, Hemo 15 supplements the required amino acids for building proteins.
Contains Water-Soluble Vitamins: Any water-soluble vitamin not needed will be excreted by the horse in the urine. This means it is safe when used as recommended and is difficult to overdose.
Hemo-15 can be combined with other medications, including fluid therapy, in sick or convalescing animals.
Directions for Use:
- One ml per 50kg bodyweight (10ml for 500kg horse)
- Can be administered intramuscularly or by slow intravenous injection
- Can be used as an additive for all IV fluids such as amino acid / vitamin mixtures, electrolytes & dextrose.
- Can be administered post race to replace essential substances depleted due to the metabolic stress of the race. Can be administered up to 24 hours pre race, to correct any existing deficiencies of essential nutrients, thereby ensuring the horse is able to utilize energy effectively & experience more rapid post race recovery.
